While it may be more difficult for people to get hold of certain items from stores due to stock, we have still seen a number of people making donations to our Tonne of tins food appeal.
So far we’ve managed to collect nearly a one and a half tonnes at our studio drop-off alone!

We’ve been working hard to try and ensure the donations coming to us are getting out to Foodbanks, with CPR, Truro, Penzance, St Austell and St Ives already receiving 200-300kg each.
This would not be possible without your continued support, and even more so in such a difficult time. We are extremely lucky to receive donations of items that have become difficult to get hold of, or have been given limits.

While the appeal has, for obvious reasons, been slower than last year, we still have a number of people all over Cornwall collecting and hope to able to get those donations to those in need as soon as possible.
Food banks have seen a surge in people, and with schools no longer running, there will be an increase in demand.
However, the Camborne, Pool and Redruth food bank will be dishing out free meals for kids who would normally get them at school.
Thanks again Cornwall, and if you’d like to donate, head to our Tonne of Tins donation page for more info.
